The 43rd annual Southern Ontario Neuroscience Association (SONA) meeting (SONA2025) will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Western University. Registration and abstract submission are now open! This is a great opportunity to share your science and connect with colleagues across our region!
There will be poster presentation prizes for trainees (undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows). In addition, two trainees will be invited to give an oral presentation (abstract submission deadline: April 21, 2025)
SONA’s membership includes all those interested in neuroscience research, spanning molecular & cellular, behavioral, cognitive, and computational neuroscience. The annual meeting is a fantastic opportunity to present your work and network with our vibrant community. This one-day event is also cost-effective to attend.

ABOUT SONA AND THIS MEETING…
Founded in 1980, the Southern Ontario Neuroscience Association (SONA) is an official local chapter of the Society for Neuroscience. Annual conferences are hosted on a rotating basis by universities within the southern Ontario region, including Brock University, McMaster University, Western University, Wilfrid Laurier University, Queen’s University, the University of Guelph, the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Windsor.
