Guelph Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to advancing Alzheimer’s research and improving the quality of life for those affected by the disease. Through the mitigation of social and personal consequences of such neurological diseases, we aim to break the stigma surrounding dementia and dementia related diseases.
We hope to increase public awareness to improve the understanding of such neurological diseases through the integration of informational and educational seminars.
As the first ever club at the University of Guelph specializing in the advocacy of dementia and dementia related disease, we aim to fundraise and support the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada and other organizations in continuing their research through any proceeds.
