Are you interested in helping new students with their transition to campus during O-Week? We are looking for Academic Community Builders!
ACB OVs are in charge of facilitating the University 100 series of O-Week events, along with participating in some O-Week events held by college governments. ACB teams will be split up by college as much as possible to make this process as simple as possible. As an ACB OV, you will be facilitating your own University 100 sessions, but you will also attend debrief sessions with your team after the sessions. ACB OVs will also play a small role in the meetings for majors (M4M) events, along with chaperoning students from their degree program meeting (DPM) or meetings for majors (M4M) to the related college government O-Week event along with acting as a general role model for the program and answering program related questions!
The shift schedule for ACB OV’s is as follows – please let us know if you can make any of these shifts!
Sunday Sep 4th – 2:00pm – 5:00pm
Monday Sep 5th – 10:30am – 1:30pm
Tuesday Sep 6th – 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Wednesday Sep 7th – 10:00am – 12:30 pm
